Pamela has extensive experience working with higher education, economic development, government, and arts organizations as well as many other types of nonprofits. In addition to Pamela’s consulting experience, she has over twenty years of executive level experience with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. This experience includes performing Chief Executive Officer duties for a leading educational nonprofit organization in Georgia, dean-level executive positions at southern institutions of higher education, and an executive position with Georgia Power in which she oversaw all external educational initiatives including state and community workforce development endeavors. Summary of Experience Pamela has served as a business representative to several national committees including the Workforce Development Action Committee, The National School-to-work Resource Mapping Institute, and the Central Georgia Goodwill Workforce Development Committee. Pamela served two terms as a Governor appointed Commissioner on the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, the state’s regulatory agency for teacher certification, ethics, standards, and accreditation for teachers and universities. Pamela holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The University of Georgia, a Bachelor’s degree in English from Georgia State University, as well as additional extensive graduate work in training and development at Georgia State University.
